Before the program, money was a mystery and a chore. For years, I did not know how to care for it in my life. This led to conflict in my marriage, a foreclosure, near bankruptcy and a great deal of resentment toward my mother. She was the one who handled the money in my family growing up, but she never taught me how to manage money. I had no idea what to do with money or how to treat it. In the past five or so years, I became aware a systems that I could employ to help me manage money better. It has made a huge difference in the relationship between my husband and me and in how my children manage their money. I felt like I was on the right track and had plans for the future. At the same time, I felt like I wasn't moving quickly enough and that money was still something "other people" had a lot of and good relationships with -- not me. I signed up for a Mindvalley membership and this was one of the first course I decided to take. I had no idea the transformation it would have on me. First, I released that resentment I had for my mother and realized that much of my money behavior actually came from my father. That one experience was mind-blowing and heart-expanding. I spent so much time resenting my mother that I all but ignored the deep trauma they both experienced, but especially my father. Both have passed away, but my relationship to them is completely different in just these few weeks. I have created powerful connections with them that I would not have imagined possible -- or even necessary. Second, I literally love money now. I have always seen money as energy because it empirically is -- there is only our determination of value for the money now -- there is no gold or silver backing the notes (and who actually carries bills that much anymore anyway ;-) ). Now I feel that energy in a manner I did not perceive before. I have struggled with the idea that I could ask for money, but now I know that I can because I can receive and give energy with every thought, deed and action I share with others. Finally, I had a tangible manifestation of this love and enjoyment of money. I have been wanting to start a business. I have been comfortable in my job and therefore, not taken the risks necessary to move forward with this business. Within days of changing my perspective about money, I received a credit line of $8,000 ... more than I could have possibly imagined right at the moment.
