"I have noticed a profound difference, not only in my eating habits but in my thinking patterns thus far"

Like many other humans, I have had much to contend with emotionally over the years, but it's not 'til recently that the penny dropped that there was a link between the emotions I have been experiencing and my weight gain.

Diets have done nothing for me at all and that was a source of genuine distress as I have been well aware of the need to look after my health on a conscious level, but I found that I couldn't engage with the myriad of different weight-loss programmes on offer on a subconscious level.

It constantly felt as if I was self-sabotaging. Looking back on this, I find it interesting - many people must really be in distress, carrying feelings of helplessness, shame, guilt, all sorts.

I discovered your havening technique in the past few weeks and have noticed a profound difference, not only in my eating habits but in my thinking patterns thus far. I'll keep you posted as to my progress however for the first time in … oh … years I feel a sense of relief, self-awareness and empowerment.
