Social Media Mastery

Created 4 children's books after losing everything in a fire

Quick summary

After losing her job and surviving a devastating fire, Paula discovered it wasn't too late to dream new dreams. Through Social Media Mastery, she conquered her fear of public speaking and created four children's books plus a gardening collection.

Before I started social media mastery I did not even have an Instagram account. I had lost my job, which i didn't even realize was so connected to identity. Facing limiting beliefs about age, and if it's too late to dream a new dream. I was inspired by my class members having success, and figuring out a new path. It's not too late to dream a new dream. After the start of the class, we experienced a fire(the hottest Valentine's day), and lost my car and most of the contents of my garage. In the moments before the firetrucks came I realized how quickly life can be over, I decided it was a greater loss to die with your gifts and wisdom still on the inside. The next week, I checked storytelling off my bucketlist. I got up in front of a room full of strangers and told a story with no notes. I had never done that before, and if I hadn't enrolled in social media mastery I doubt I would have done it. Sometimes life calls you to be brave. I had considered dropping after the fire, I just couldn't think. I'm glad I didn't because it got better, and I created 4 children's books and a collection of gardening wisdom and resources. I appreciated the teachers who contributed to our learning, and mostly for sharing their humble beginnings. Everyone starts without experience, learning formulas and tools from people who have gotten results is the quickest way to improve your results. The host Ileana and Hazel were amazing, so helpful and patient. Truly the only dumb question is the one you never ask. Warm regards, Paula Warm regards, Paula
