Videos went from 300 to 900 views while building confidence on camera
After her marketing person left, Sandra reluctantly stepped in front of the camera despite her discomfort. Through Social Media Mastery, she tripled her video views and discovered that serving her niche matters more than appealing to everyone.
Dear Mindvalley Team, When I joined the Social Media Mastery program, it was almost a spur-of-the-moment decision. Our marketing person had just left, and I suddenly found myself responsible for something I had never imagined doing. I was extremely uncomfortable in front of the camera, and if I'm honest, I still get nervous. Prince Ea's lesson, however, gave me the encouragement I needed to keep showing up. The difference today is that I'm beginning to relax, trust myself more, and press "record" anyway. One of the biggest lessons I've learned is that I don't have to appeal to everyone. Before this program, I felt like I needed to create content that would resonate with anyone who came across it. Now I understand that my focus should be on serving my people, my niche, and my tribe. That shift in mindset has been one of the most valuable takeaways for me. I don't feel like I've had one huge breakthrough moment, but I have experienced steady, meaningful progress. Brendon's lessons on creating strong hooks completely changed the way I think about content. My videos used to average around 300 views, and now they're consistently reaching 800 to 900 views or more. While I can't yet say that those views have translated into significantly higher sales, they have given me something just as important right now: confidence and hope that I'm moving in the right direction. One of the most challenging parts of the program has been learning AI. Even though Domenic explained everything clearly, it was still a steep learning curve for me. Being in my 50s, some of the concepts felt overwhelming, and there were moments when I wondered if I could keep up. I'm incredibly grateful that we continue to have access to the training because it allows me to revisit the lessons, learn at my own pace, and gradually build my confidence. Every time I go back, another piece falls into place. I'm also excited to continue implementing Sabrina's teachings. She has an incredible ability to make marketing feel both strategic and authentic, and I know her lessons will continue to help me grow. Looking ahead, my vision is clear. I want to provide more personalized skincare guidance and support for women and men who are struggling with their skin and don't know where to turn. Helping people build effective skincare routines that truly solve their concerns is what motivates me every day. Of course, I also want to grow my business and increase sales, not just for financial success, but because that growth will give me the freedom and resources to serve even more people. This program hasn't just taught me about social media. It has taught me to be more confident, more focused, and more willing to step outside my comfort zone. I've learned that progress doesn't always come from giant leaps. Sometimes it comes from consistently showing up, even when you're uncomfortable. I'm still learning, I'm still growing, and I know I have a long way to go, but for the first time, I truly believe I'm building the skills and the confidence to create the future I envision. Sincerely, Sandra Charbonneau
