“I really enjoy Christie.”
Karen discovered that her clutter stemmed from a deep fear of not being able to rely on God's provision. This realization freed her from the compulsion to do everything herself, allowing her to hire help and focus only on what brings her joy.
I'm only on number 13. Some I've had to do one several times. This one is about clutter is very helpful. It has helped me release fears about not being able to rely on God to give me what I need when I need it. Deep inside me I felt I had to save things myself.
That lead to the realization that I believe I must do things myself. (As I'm fairly crafty, that meant sewing, painting, putting up drywall, taping, plumbing, electrical, etc.) I've given it up. I only do myself what I really enjoy doing. The rest I hire out. Couldn't do that before.
I really enjoy Christie. It's the lightness and happiness, and the thought that life is supposed to be FUN that really appeals to me. When you look it that way, you can see that it can be true (should have learned it as a kid from Mary Poppins Spoonful of Sugar song).
