Meet Gahmya Drummond-Bey, Your Program BFF

Gahmya Drummond-Bey has been an educator and curriculum designer for 12 years.

She has taught and rebuilt education programs in over 20 countries, and today is a TED Resident and founder of her own learning platform for youth.

Her journey through education systems led her to understand kids and teenagers with a unique perspective; which inspired the creation of KidYOUniversity - an educational platform that aims to teach practical skills that should be available in schools, but aren’t.

Gahmya is deeply passionate about connecting with young people in an authentic and empowering way that honors their uniqueness as individuals. She was even nicknamed the “celebrity teacher” by students in South Korea.

This program is Gahmya’s way of empowering youth with one of the most important life skills not taught in schools: the ability to create strong social connections in any environment or situation.
