“At 60 I am restarting a company with more operating leverage than I had the first time”

Quick summary

After putting her life's work on hold for three years to support her family, she used AI Mastery to build sixteen intelligent systems that gave her the confidence and leverage to resign from her job and restart her company at 60—this time with tools that work for her around the clock.

At 60, I resigned. Mindvalley AI Mastery gave me the confidence; the system I built gave me the tools. In 2021 I founded Smile and built an online framework that teaches people how to stand in life more positively, how to find their energy again and smile more. I believe that is what I am here to do. Then life took a turn. In 2023 my partner's business went bankrupt after online scammers targeted him, and he fell into a depression. That same week I took a salaried job as a recruiter, because we needed stable income. Smile went on hold. For three years I built other people's careers while my own work sat untouched. It never stopped gnawing at me. At the end of 2025 I did what Mindvalley had already taught me through Lifebook and Manifesting Mastery: decide, visualise, move. I pictured myself running Smile again. AI Mastery started a few weeks later. The first thing I built in the program was that picture, literally: a consistency sheet of my own face from five reference photos, then that same face placed inside the scenes I am working toward. It hangs in my home office now in my Success Direction. Opportunities I put on it have started arriving. Since then, I have built sixteen working systems across five domains: mindset, business, health, brand and content, operations. A health intelligence system that reads my blood work, my DNA results and my health history, and reasons with everything I gathered in Wildfit, Integrative Nutrition and Chinese medicine. It acts as my personal health coach. I learned AI my own writing voice, extracted from the manuscript of my published book into a Skill, so everything I publish sounds like me. A research agent that runs every week without me, verifies its sources and writes structured records into a database that feeds my newsletter and my keynotes, and soon my social media. Three external trainings, including Daniel Priestley's Oversubscribed, turned into Skills, so methods I once had to remember now get applied by default. And a business plan with a financial model behind it. That is what turned "I want Smile back" into "I can do this." Before, I used AI as an overqualified Google. One question at a time, starting from zero, every time. Now it knows my labs, my brand, my customers, my book and my calendar. It shows up as different business partners and coaches, and I like it best when it argues with me or pulls an idea out of me I didn't know was there. A couple of weeks ago I resigned. From October, Smile is my full-time work again. At 60 I am restarting a company with more operating leverage than I had the first time. I pass on what I learned in AI Mastery every single day, to colleagues and to kids half my age who assume this technology belongs to them. It doesn't. It belongs to whoever picks it up.
