"Creating supportive homes for isolated young adults in crisis"

For more than 20 years, I helped children with special needs see their worth. Then I watched my own son, Liam, endure years of bullying and enter adulthood painfully isolated. Searching for connection, he found dangerous corners of the internet that fed his hurt and led him toward a frightening mindset.

After years of soul crushing struggling to find help, I was told that if I could not manage his extreme mental health crises at home, the answer was homelessness. And Liam is not alone.

That moment became my calling. Through Empowering Bright Futures, I want to help shift a system that leaves people and families without a path forward. I envision supportive homes, education, meaningful work, and real human connection brought together so young adults can build lives of purpose and belonging. Everyone deserves somewhere to go, someone to turn to, and a future worth believing in. WE ALL MATTER. IF ONE OF US MATTERS WE ALL MATTER. 💛
