AI-generated worship song played at Mom's funeral, now used by the church

Quick summary

He used AI to create original worship music that was played at his mother's funeral in a conservative church—and later requested for other services. Now his AI-generated songs are released on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube, proving that technology can amplify deeply authentic human emotion.

Achievements:

Created and released original AI-generated music on major streaming platforms including YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Music. Tracks like “Thank You for Everything” and “Trust in the Lord Dance Like David” demonstrate AI’s creative potential in music composition, production, and distribution.

One of the most meaningful milestones came when I played my song “Faithful Provider” for my mom on the night she passed. She told me I should keep doing this so now I posting songs for her.

At her funeral, in a conservative Christian church that does not even allow drums, they played one of my AI-generated worship songs. "I am Home (in my fathers House)" After the service, the church asked if they could use it for other funerals.

This wasn’t a technical demo. It was AI-powered art serving real people in a deeply personal moment — and being validated by a traditional community.

Tools:

AI music generation platforms (Suno/Udio), ChatGPT, Sora, Claude, YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, distribution platforms for streaming release.

Methodology:

Used ChatGPT and Claude to help me make my lyrics then I use AI music generation tools to compose, produce, and refine original tracks. I remix and edit the songs to provide originality. The creative process involved iterating on prompts, musical styles, structure, and emotional tone until the output aligned with a clear artistic vision.

Managed the full distribution pipeline — metadata, artwork, publishing, streaming optimization — to release on major platforms.

This demonstrates that AI artistry extends beyond generation into positioning, packaging, and real-world deployment.

Learnings:

AI music creation is a legitimate creative medium, not a novelty.

The defining variable is not the model — it is the human taste, conviction, and curation guiding it.

The experience of creating a song that was played at a conservative church funeral — and later requested for reuse — reinforced a key insight:

AI can amplify meaning, but only when directed by authentic human intent.

Distribution, audience building, and emotional resonance remain human-driven challenges regardless of how the music is produced.
