“At 62 I'm not just productive: I'm the one who adds the most value”
At 62, this CEO was planning his exit and succession. Then he discovered that AI doesn't replace decades of experience—it multiplies them. Now he's building the future he once thought had passed him by.
My rebirth at 62 Before this Quest, my life was focused on succession. I'm 62, CEO of a software company I co-founded in Puerto Rico, and I was thinking about how to hand it over to my daughter — with the uncomfortable feeling that my goals were still unmet, my missions half-finished. At my age, you start to feel that your effort dilutes, that the topics repeat themselves, and that the value you bring is fading behind you. I enrolled hoping to learn tools — how AI could transform my company. What I found instead was a new way of seeing my own future. After this Quest, I feel reborn. The biggest change is where my mind lives now: I'm no longer planning my exit — I'm still implementing the ideas this course awakened in me. I discovered that at 62 I'm not just productive: I'm the one who adds the most value in my company's value chain, because AI doesn't replace my 30 years of experience — it multiplies them. If I had to name my top insights, they would be these: experience plus AI is the most powerful combination in business today; age is leverage, not limitation; and dreams don't expire — mine is building the digital municipality, and now I'm actually building it. I recommend this Quest because it didn't just teach me AI. It gave me back the desire to work, to create, to do everything I once dreamed of but couldn't. It gave me back my future. And I'm going to enjoy every bit of it. — Ignacio Polanco, CEO, The PHOENIX Company
