An international lawyer used AI to win back hours and design a peacemaking
A dispute resolution specialist designed an AI-powered mediation and arbitration platform for cross-border disputes, after saving 2–3 hours a day with AI.
Aneesha Bhunjun is an international lawyer who spends her days helping people settle cross-border disputes. In the AI Mastery programme she found the time and the tools to build NexusAIMedArb.com, a platform that pairs AI with mediation and arbitration. Her story shows how new skills can turn a long-held vision into something real, even in a season of new parenthood.
Before
Aneesha worked on disputes that cross borders and cultures, where the process can be slow and heavy for everyone involved. She held a vision of making dispute resolution faster, more accessible and less burdensome. The birth of her second child on 30 August 2024 made that vision feel urgent, but the hours in a day were already full.
“With the time I’ve saved using AI tools, I’ve been able to focus on building a platform that combines precision and empathy to create lasting peace.”

The turning point
The AI Mastery programme showed her how to bring AI into her daily work. She began using dictation software and automating workflows, and found she was saving 2–3 hours every day. That time became the space to build, and the programme gave her the confidence to aim higher.
“It has equipped me with the skills to embrace technology and apply it in ways I never imagined possible.”

After
Aneesha now uses AI not only to automate but to care for clients, tracking milestones and progress so they feel valued. She created NexusAIMedArb.com, a platform blending AI with mediation and arbitration for disputes across five regions. She is also planning Peacemaking Centres that bring together mediation and Mindvalley's 6-Phase Meditation, and a course that combines AI, mediation and meditation.
What it lets people do
The platform is designed to take routine work like case intake, document preparation and scheduling off people's plates. It gives mediators and arbitrators insights that support faster, better-informed decisions, with a focus on reaching underrepresented communities in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
What they learned
Aneesha learned that technology can serve empathy rather than replace it. The time AI gave back went to her biggest goals and to her family, and she now sees her work as part of building a movement of peacemakers.
“This will create a global movement of peacemakers for future generations.”
