Everyone’s talking about Ozempic right now. Wegovy. Mounjaro. The GLP-1 injections.
The promise is a weekly shot that flips a metabolic switch your body forgot it had.
And here’s the part most people miss: the science is real. GLP-1 isn’t something foreign. It’s a hormone your body already makes on its own.
So the real question was never whether GLP-1 works.
It’s this: why did most of us stop making enough of it? And is there a way to turn it back on, without the needle?
That question is what sent me to my friend Eric Edmeades. And it’s tied to one of the quietest, best decisions I’ve ever made.
It started in 2016, when I was chubby and skeptical
Back then, I joined an early group testing a pre-release version of WildFit, the program Eric created.
I was chubby. 22% body fat. You honestly wouldn’t recognize me from a photo taken ten years ago.
I wasn’t in crisis. I just wasn’t where I wanted to be. And I’d tried enough diets to know that “try harder” was never the answer. Trying harder had never once worked for me.
In 90 days, that changed. I went from 22% to 14% body fat.
But the number isn’t the part that stayed with me.
I’m 50 today. I’m still at 14%. And I’ve genuinely never felt better.
Ten years on, the results simply held.
That’s the part that floors me is not the transformation: the permanence.
Every diet I’d ever done handed the weight back within a year. This one never gave it back.
Here’s why it held, and it goes right back to that question
Eric’s method doesn’t attack your willpower. It works on something underneath it, a process he calls Behavioral Change Dynamics.
You rewire the beliefs and triggers around food, and your body quietly shifts from storing fat to burning it. From running on sugar to running on fat.
That shift is the switch everyone is now trying to buy in a syringe.
Because when your body runs the way it was designed to, it produces the very hormone the injections are synthetic copies of. GLP-1.
As Eric puts it, it’s the difference between the sun and a tanning bed. One is the real thing your body was built around. The other is a manufactured version you have to keep paying for, for the rest of your life.
The injection rents you the feeling. Eric’s method gives you back the mechanism.
And the mechanism is exactly what you told us you’re missing
A few weeks ago, we surveyed our community. Nearly 300 of you answered, and I read them.

The pattern was almost unanimous.
What you want is clear: lose weight, get fit, more energy, age well.
But what’s missing isn’t motivation, and it isn’t information. You already know what to do. You’ve tried, more than once.
Only 1 in 10 of you feel close to your goal.
You’re not short on willpower.
You’re short on the mechanism, the thing that keeps working after the motivation runs out.
That is the exact thing Eric built WildFit to give you.
More than half a million people have now been through it, and the pattern repeats every time: it holds.
Come see how this works, live
On Tuesday, October 6th, Eric is teaching a free live class called Turn On Your Metabolic Switch. I’ll be right there with him.

He’ll show you how the switch actually works, why yours may have gotten stuck, and he’ll teach you one thing you can apply immediately, starting at your very next meal.
I’d genuinely love for you to be there.
📅 Tuesday, October 6: 8am Los Angeles / 4pm London / 11am New York / 7pm Dubai / 8:30pm New Delhi
See you live,

P.S. I’d love to hear from you: leave a comment and tell me where you are with all this, curious about GLP-1, already on it, or looking for another way in. I read every one. And one honest nudge, since it’s true: Eric teaches this live only once a year, and there’s no replay promised. Ten years ago I was chubby and skeptical. If that version of me could see this, he’d have already clicked. → Reserve your seat

tried a private version of ozempic about 4 years ago. on plan for 3 months and lost weight but I felt miserable every day. no energy, did not want to eat and had to nap for 2 hours every afternoon. I has lost weight but never lost my belly fat. going off due to cost also. I gain weight back and my belly fat continues to grow and disgusting. I have been reading about many natural approaches to create my own GLP-1 but eat great, protein, carbs and fats balanced, exercise regularly, minus a few days with no energy. belly fat still huge and the extra protein and calories made me gain the 25 lbs I lost. I am 72, went on hormone therapy, no difference in energy, analysis of all my labs, vitamins, and prescriptions (high col, trigly-working good on that) with my AI health coach and looking good. but I still suffer from extreme sleepiness and about 2-3 pm brain fog and need a nap. Hate it. been to all kinds of doctors and all labs say everything is working fine. tried many approaches with the 8-16 fasting to counting the macros in my food (what a pain), eating the best foods to help boost metabolism. But still the belly fat and the extreme sleepiness. I am hoping for a nugget or two that I can get from your class to get this solved.
I can not attend this session as I will be checked into the hospital for a week for EEG eval. My I view it while in the hospital on a replay? I have been on Glp1 for 2 yrs and lost 115lbs, but do not want to regain any weight. I want to know the transition off the injectables and into another way of activating the body’s natural fat-burning; reduction in hunger stimuli; and cortisol control.
Hello
GLP-1’s sound enticing, and I know of three women who’ve used it to lose quite substantial amounts of weight in enviably short time-frames. One had her gall bladder removed as a consequence (quite a common outcome I’m told), the second feels she’ll need to be on them life long or she’ll put the weight she’s lost (50lb so far) back on and is therefore considering the pill form as it’s less expensive and the last one insists she’s lost all her weight by virtual cycling; her face tells a different story!
But……………….the medical downsides keep me from taking the plunge. Is it possible to re-ignite the internal GLP-1 production at all/in my case post menopause? I’d rather turn on something internally that has been switched off, so, I’m all ears Eric! See you on the 6th.
Gratitude for Mindvalley, Vishen. Love it! Tell my kids to get on a quest all the time x
Gracias.
If I register will I have access to the session afterwards? It is scheduled for 2am mid week so I won’t be able to watch live.
Thanks
I did WildFit through MindValley in January 2026. I released 15 pounds and was already eating fairly healthy. I have maintained about 75-80% of the program education, practices and habits. I’ve regained about 1/2 the weight and still have my food freedom. NO foods have control over me. I’m always at choice. I know what to do to tighten things up again. I am frightened by the ready use of GLP-1 drugs and their side-effects. I just had a friend who has been a long time user have her gall bladder removed as a result. I’m so glad Eric and you are teaming up to teach this. YOU and Eric are why I signed up in January 2024. I am grateful.
I remember when you were “chubby” and then all of a sudden you were smokin! I didn’t pay attention back then cause I was still slim but I’m listening now because I have seen over the years not once did you gain back an ounce!
I also Love your voice and still listen to your 6 phase meditation when I’m in the dumps; works every time. I also love your enthusiasm; you Rock Vishen!!!
I took GLP-1 for 11 weeks and decided to stop. I lost about 10 lbs which I visibly noticed was not only fat, but also muscle. I felt great but didn’t want to continue because my appearance was beginning to look saggy even though I exercised –mainly walking, and had decent protein intake. I had less cravings and ate less from the calorie deficit. Would definitely like a more natural, sustainable way to address weight management being in my late 50’s.
Diappointed to see there will be no replays. Is there a way to get the info without taking off of work?
I would like to hear more facts on Ozempic and the others since I’ve seen so many articles and scientific data about them paralyzing the stomach and causing serious health issues that then become permanent.
Thank you for this program.
I am so glad you RECORD all your classes, I hope you will for this one as well.
I live in SouthCarolina so it would be in the ‘NewYork’ time zone and I am at work by 11am – but I AM interested in this topic,I want to hear this class. (I’m possibly considering the ‘WellFit’ program).
Anyway this is my comment.
I know you have to accommodate everybody’s Time and thank you for Recording everything so we all can see.
I’ve never been overweight or model-slim—always somewhere in the middle, around 70 kg at 169 cm. Still, I always felt I could do better.
Three times in my life, I’ve lost 10 kilos. Each time took a lot of effort (the gym never seemed to help), and the results didn’t last. Just as Vishen said, about a year.
Now, in my 50s, I’m back to 70–72 kg. And perhaps for the first time in my life, I can say that’s not so bad. I’m in good shape, and I don’t need to compare myself to magazine models in their 20s. Still, I’d love to lose those 10 kilos again—and keep them off—while keeping my body toned and strong.
I eat fairly healthily, and I know I need more exercise. But I don’t enjoy the gym, and swimming and biking don’t seem to be enough to get me where I want to be and keep me there.
So I’m curious to hear what Eric has to say! 🙂
I completed WildFit about 10 years ago, and it was a fantastic program. What has always stuck with me is that even when I’ve slipped, I’ve known how to get back on the wagon because WildFit gave me an understanding of my relationship with food—not just a diet to follow\.
Lately, though, I’ve found myself in a downward spiral and would really like to find my way back.
I’m definitely curious about GLP\-1s, particularly because of the results so many people are experiencing\. At the same time, I’m hesitant\. My concern is whether they become a short-term solution without addressing the underlying habits, behaviors, and relationship with food that got me here in the first place\. What happens when you stop taking them?
That’s what has me thinking seriously about returning to WildFit. I know the program works, I’ve experienced it firsthand, and I like the idea of rebuilding the habits and mindset that can serve me for the long term.
I’d also be very interested in Eric’s perspective on GLP\-1s and whether he sees a role for them alongside the WildFit approach—or whether he believes there’s a better path back.
As a personal trainer working with women for 30 years, I can tell you that a woman’s system works very differently from a man’s. The menopause hormonal shift is truly shocking and noticeable. None of the hormonal systems work efficiently anymore and fat weight distribution changes visibly. As estrogen drops, natural GLP-1 signaling weakens. Especially for women that suffered from PCOS and related conditions. GLP-1 is life changing for many of these women who eat the same and work out just as hard as they always have, but can’t fight the effects of menopause.
This is exactly the situation I’m in. Will this program work for me? My body doesn’t work the same anymore and it doesn’t respond in any “normal” ways to diet and exercise.
I’m curious: what is the data on the success rate of Wildfit for keeping weight off long term?
I did Wildfit some years ago, and I regained all my weight back and more.
I would be surprised if keeping-weight-off-long-term success rate for Wildfit is more than 1-3%.
Also, I know that you, Vishen , gained some weight back recently and then had to work on releasing it.
I’m pretty sure Wildfit will not work for anyone with emotional eating or any kind of eating disorders, like bingeing, anorexia, bulimia, or any of that. A better program for that might be Bright Line Eating.
It would be nice if we can add some more data into marketing rather than leaving it so fluffy and misleading.
Hello Vishen, I’m in my 40+ now. I have friends that use GLP, I never tried it. What I have experienced is a completely changed of my body after a treatment for intestinal disbiosis and changes in diet, my body looks like in my 20s. I am a doctor but I never believed that microbioama has such a huge influence on my health/body/mind.
I think a lot of research needs to be done to understand more about this.
All the best, Maria
Wildfit sounds great, will attend the webinar having read Eric’s book
How do I organise lunch with Vishen to promote an idea that potentially gets MindValley univ working with potentially 1 million people in 🇬🇧?
Dr Richard De Souza London
Excited to hear about this new Wildfit class coming up! Am in week 5 of the programme currently and it’s really wonderful and transformational – just coaching is pre- recorded, so missing the community.
Sugar cravings were gone after the first week and that’s a wow – my main downfall on every diet I tried.
I am interested in the program but cannot attend on 10-6-26. Send me info on the program itself.
I am an 84 year old female Post Open Heart Surgery to repair my Mitral Valve I8/4/25. I have gained 20 lbs since that date and my cravings include sweets, salty snacks and fresh fruit. I would like to lose this weight mostly for my overall health and high BMI as I’ve lost 3 inches in height over the years.
I’ve tried Noom, Stonehenge Health GLP-1, and will power but nothing has worked. I am ready to try something different. I’ve been a member of the MindValley community from your very beginnings. I also follow Nick Ortner and the Tapping system since he started. I’ve been tapping since 1993 when it was in it’s infancey and I was working as a Ph.D. Geropsychologist [now retired.] Looking forward to ANOTHER WAY to lose this weight. Thanks for all you’ve done to better the world community.
