In 2016, Mindvalley founder Vishen Lakhiani asked himself a bold question:
What if education could be… exciting? What if it could bring people together across generations, cultures, and continents—not in classrooms, but in real life?
So he put out a post:
“I’m going to Barcelona for a month with my family to learn, grow, and explore. Who’s in?”
He expected a handful of yeses. Over 300 people showed up.
Workshops happened in the mornings. Adventures in the afternoons. Late-night masterminds turned into lifelong friendships. The city became a playground for personal transformation—and a new kind of university was born.
Since then, the movement has traveled across Europe. From Tallinn to Pula, and now Amsterdam, each year’s campus becomes a fresh backdrop for reinvention.
It began as an experiment.
