12 weeks ago, someone shared with me a statement that has since profoundly impacted the trajectory of my life.
I want to tell you the story because, for many of you, this will impact you too.
I was sitting at Soho House in Stockholm. I came to Stockholm to attend a longevity conference. I assembled people around me: founders, a few Mindvalley authors, close friends.
I asked them an important question.
I’d gathered them because I was confused.
And I wanted the truth from people who wouldn’t flatter me.
Here’s what I asked:
“I love teaching. But this past year I’ve been teaching so many different things, and I keep wondering what would happen if I focused on one. Among the areas of manifesting, entrepreneurship, AI, personal growth, and influence, what would you most want to hear me speak about?”
Across from me sat a brilliant doctor and speaker named Babak Amen.
And what he said stopped me cold.
“Vishen, the manifesting work is cool. But plenty of people do that. The one thing you’re truly the best in the world at, the thing that has my full attention, is turning someone who is an expert into an authority. You’ve done it for hundreds of authors. For WildFit. For Lifebook. For Marisa Peer. For Jim Kwik. For Regan Hillyer. You’ve built world-class names. Some of them are globally recognized. After two decades, you must have a system because I don’t know anyone else who’s done this a hundred times, for a hundred different people. What’s the method? Teach that. And I’ll take notes.”
I sat with it for a long time.
He was right.
It’s the one thing I’m possibly truly one of the best in the world at.
I know how to take an expert nobody has heard of and make them a name people flock to.
I know how to take a founder with a brilliant product that can’t get seen, and help them tell their story so clearly that people start chasing them instead.
I know how to take a webinar and turn it into an engine that floods a company with leads.
I did that for Lifebook — a 12-year-old company — and grew their revenue 300% in a few months.
I know how to make a world-class teacher into a globally recognized name. I did that with Marisa Peer in 2015.
And I know how to build a video ad that makes a teacher famous. The campaign we built for Jim Kwik took him from 50,000 Instagram followers to two million. At its peak, it drove $20 million A YEAR for his program Superbrain.
I’ve done this more than a hundred times.
Here’s what Babak Amen actually gave me that afternoon. It wasn’t a compliment. It was clarity. Because I realized I don’t just know how to do this thing — I know how to teach it.
That’s the realization moving me into a new chapter of my life.
Why this becomes my legacy
At Mindvalley, we’ve always dreamed of touching a billion lives.
After 20 years, we’ve reached about 20 million people directly. Count the lives our teachers have touched, and it’s closer to 100 million people. Beautiful.
But it still leaves 900 million to go.
I’ve finally made peace with something. We can’t get there on our own.
The only way to touch a billion lives is to amplify other teachers. To take the gifted and the unknown, the ones with something real to give, and help the world actually receive them. I know the system that does this. So I’m going to give it away.
I’m starting with a summit. I’ll be doing most of the teaching.

That date is not random. Dates carry meaning for me.
September 18, 2007, was the most important day of my life. It’s the day my son Hayden was born.
Hayden just left for university. He’s in Florida now, and I’m enormously proud of him. We spent his last year before university traveling the world together, learning together because any parent will tell you the hard math: you spend about 90% of the time you’ll ever have with your child before they turn eighteen.
So this September 18, for the first time, Hayden’s at university. And a lot of time has opened up in my life.
I could let that become sadness. The quiet grief that hits so many parents when the house goes still. Instead, I’m pouring it into something that matters, building a new chapter around helping experts become authorities.
That’s why the summit begins on the 18th. The day my son starts his next chapter and turns 19 is the day I start mine.

I am an Early Childhood Educator. I run a Montessori inspired Farm School. It’s a four hour program. And I do this really well. Students from my program go onto kindergarten with a lot of confidence, self direction, self regulation, and are notice for being leaders in their class. I support a community with the families. I am an 86 year old retired primary, secondary and university teacher and educational non-profit CEO. Ny 40 year working career was spent in Alaska. My wife and I retired to Ireland in 2005. Rosie died of cervical cancer in 2016 and my family and I set up a continuing scholarship at the dance studio where she taught. For several years that was my/our tribute to Rosie. (Btw, our two girls and their families moved to Ireland with us!)
In the last year or so I have been thinking she deserved a larger commemoration and I needed a focus point, so I decided to do a fundraising walk across the Old Towns of all 27 EU capitals in her name to fight cancer. Outrageous good idea, yes? Of course yes! But then, after telling several people what I planned, I started to think -Jeez, I’m kinda old for this – and I’m fat – and I’m in awful shape! These three things were hanging over my head like the sword of Damocles – until I attended your Manifesting Mastery class today!
Although there was no parting of the heavens or angels singing the “Hallelujah Chorus”, or even Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah”, something you said clicked with me and I realized I have plenty of organizing and fundraising expertise to pull off this charity walk! And then I opened my email and found this invitation to your Expert to Authority master class, and the handwriting appeared on the wall!

First, familiarity and expertise on a topic are two different things. Many confuse familiarity with expertise. A person at any given point in time can process 5-7 pieces of information simultaneously, but experts like chess grandmasters can process 7-9 clusters of information simultaneously; each one piece is a culmination of 5-7 pieces of information.
Secondly, conscious and unconscious expertise. A coach/mentor can help one become aware of their unconscious expertise.
Then, expertise to authority is a process that you truly are a master at!
Vishen, this stirred something in me.
The one thing I might be the best in the world at: putting homeopathy into the hands of mothers, and teaching them to actually use it.
What I do stands on a three-legged stool.
The first leg is homeopathy itself. Gentle, elegant, profoundly effective remedies that work on the whole person, at the level of frequency, down to the cell. Two hundred years old, and still the most powerful and practical healing tool I know. This is the magic.
The second leg is action. A remedy on the shelf heals nothing. I’m a homeopath and a mother of four homeschooled children, and I teach mothers to observe, witness, and act. To become the healer of their own home instead of outsourcing every fever and every fear. I’ve built this leg over years of teaching.
The third leg is a community of people who are already open to transforming their lives. Homeopathy doesn’t need convincing. It needs the right room.
Yours is that room. I have two legs of the stool. You have the third. You built it, and you just wrote about giving it away.
I’ll be at the summit on the 18th. And if you ever open that room to homeopathy, I would love the chance to be one of the teachers standing in it.

Now it’s quite disappointing to read, to be honest.
Vishen, your question made me realize that four things I’ve always thought were completely different talents are actually the same talent.
I find the hidden variable that changes everything.
People: Give me someone’s behavioral history and a current conflict, and I can predict their next move with uncanny accuracy.
Identity: Tell me what someone wants, and I can spot the invisible belief that’s fighting against it.
Assets: Show me what someone already has, and I’ll see value and monetization opportunities hiding in plain sight that they don’t realize are there.
Industries: Show me what works in one industry, and I can see the underlying mechanism and where it could create an entirely new opportunity in another.
I thought these were four different superpowers.
Turns out, they’re one:

Well, I run a telecom infrastructure construction company with about 200 employees. The pride that carry within myself for being able to keep my people around for years and sometimes decades is very powerful. Fun fact, now the kids of a few of those guys who I brought with me on the journey either have started working with us or started their own contracting business and subcontract to us. I am a rapport builder with my team, customers, other contractors etc. Love that and very thankful for that every day.
