Summary: Watch this video by Ajit Nawalkha on stop social media to help you become more aware of this addiction and avoid getting yourself and your coaching business stuck.

Stop using social media.

I know it sounds very dramatic, but I’m being serious.

It’s getting more and more “normal” to be staring at our phones or laptop screens for hours just browsing the internet and, most specifically, social media platforms.

Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest… whatever rocks your boat.

These channels are doing more harm than good for you and your coaching business, and you might not even be realizing it!

Now I know you must be thinking, “But, Ajit, you’re on social media every day too!”

And yes, I also use some platforms, but there’s a thin line between being active for a short period of time every other day, and overusing it… every day.

Here are my 2 main reasons why:

Firstly, have you ever noticed how time flies when you’re hooked on your phone?

Hours can pass easily… and that’s not a good thing.

We only get 24 hours a day and a limited lifespan. How many events and opportunities are you missing because you’re too focused on a screen?

Too many to count.

But ok, we all knew that anyway. It’s been a growing trend for years.

What most people don’t realize, however, which is the second reason, is that social media is lifting the bar for perfectionism.

If you used to take two hours to write an email, now you take four.

Or you used to try new things all the time, and now you go into deep four-week-long research mode before testing something new out.

Sounds familiar?
